12. Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 follows Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Jake Muller as they try to survive after being trapped aboard a cruise liner full of zombies. While I'm no fan of zombie games, RE6's story and characters helped make this the best installment yet. You'll face tough decisions throughout the game that will affect how Leon and his allies behave later on. Unfortunately, the pacing is slow at times, especially early on, and some of the puzzles feel repetitive, but once the action starts, it never stops. The game's visuals are spectacular and the sound design is top notch. Not only was Capcom able to reproduce the realistic atmosphere of the original Resident Evil games, but they also added their own touches to give the game that extra bit of scare. If you're looking for a good combination of suspense and action, then RE6 is for you.
