League of legends is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena game developed by Riot Games based off of the fantasy MMORPG (massively multiplayer online roleplaying game) Warcraft III created by Blizzard Entertainment. LoL was later released on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Windows PC. LoL features a highly customizable roster of playable champions, each with their own unique abilities and play style. All players begin the game as a generic “support” character who gains experience and levels over time, while simultaneously acquiring items to help them stand out amongst others.
